Privacy Policy

The short version
Control is local-first. Your health information (assessment answers, diary entries, session history, scores, and notes) is stored only on your device. There are no accounts, no backend operated by us, and no cloud copy of your health data. Deleting your data in Settings removes it permanently.
Health data stays on your device
Everything you enter about your body and habits, including self-assessment answers, bladder and leak diary entries, guided session history, your self-reported Control Score, and any notes, is stored in local storage on your phone. It is never transmitted to us or to third parties. PDF reports you generate are created on the device and shared only when and where you choose to share them.
What we do collect
We collect anonymous usage analytics so we can understand which features help and fix what breaks. These events record only that a step happened, never the health answer behind it. Analytics never receive:
- Your assessment answers
- Diary contents (drinks, bathroom visits, leaks, or notes)
- Your Control Score or pattern classification
- Pain answers and safety checklist responses
- Pregnancy, menopause, or postpartum status
- Free-text notes of any kind
- Exact reminder times or report contents
Analytics and crash reporting use Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) and Mixpanel. Install attribution uses AppsFlyer. Purchases are processed by Apple; we use RevenueCat to validate subscription state under an anonymous identifier. We never see your name, email, Apple ID, or payment details, and we do not use the App Tracking Transparency framework to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not show third-party ads in the app.
- We do not require or create user accounts.
- We do not store your health information on any server.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete my data erases all locally stored health information immediately and permanently. Because we keep no copy, there is nothing further for us to delete. You can reset the anonymous analytics identifier by reinstalling the app or using your device's privacy settings.
Children
Control is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version at this address and update the effective date above. Material changes will be called out in the app.
